A New Look for an Historic Hotel

This project involved the complete renovation of all 310 guest rooms and corridors in this historic Halifax hotel.

Work included stripping the rooms back to the bare bones and replacing all paint, wall vinyl, carpeting, windows, and shower fixtures. The corridors received new carpeting and the north tower received extensive upgrades to the ventilation system.

Additional work included a significant upgrade to the building’s mechanical system and the revitalization and reconfiguration of the building’s lobby, restaurant, and bar area. These improvements will help the hotel serve its guests well into the future.
