As part of Marco’s growth strategy, we have expanded our P3 Division to focus resources and expertise specifically in the growing P3 business segment.
This project delivery model occurs when the government enters into a long-term contract with a group of companies that have formed a consortium specifically for a project. The consortium takes on the responsibility of not only designing or building a facility but also operating, financing and sometimes even owning it for an extended period of time.
Marco’s P3 Division is led by Mark Thompson.
With over 40 years of industry experience, Mark has advanced from swinging a hammer as a carpenter to utilizing his BSc. Construction Engineering Bachelor degree as a site engineer; quantifying and pricing as an estimator; running mid-size projects as a project manager; setting the stage for future work as business development manager; leading fast-tracked major project teams as construction manager; managing resources and resolving issues as operations manager; overseeing all aspects of the business as district manager; to pursuing with success major Public Private Partnership projects. With his coast-to-coast building experience with all types of project delivery models, Mark provides extensive support to the operations teams.
