This 5 576-square-meter complex houses both emergency response services and maintenance facilities for the Halifax International Airport.

It encompasses a fire station, vehicle wash and storage bays, maintenance garage, and operational support space. The support space includes offices, conference and training rooms, locker rooms, staff and crew areas, sleeping quarters, and an emergency communications room. This facility is a post-disaster building.
