The First of Its Kind in Atlantic Canada
This project involved the construction of three buildings: a 6 000-square-meter casino; a 12 000-square-meter, 128-room luxury hotel; and a 6 000-square-meter multi-purpose entertainment venue with a concert seating capacity of 1,800 people. It was designed to evoke the old-world luxury once found in Canadian Pacific hotels while combining it with the finest modern amenities and a nod to its Atlantic Canadian location.
One of the unique features of this project was the decision to include a modern representation of a lighthouse to tie the project to the architecture of the region.
The three buildings of the complex were constructed simultaneously with staggered completion dates.
